John and Dominique's story began when a mutual friend (Destiny) invited them both out on the same night. The whole night was spent with them talking and dancing with one another. As the night was ending John graciously gave Dominique his coat to keep her warm on the walk back to her car. He had her zipped up so tight she couldn't move her arms which resulted in her losing her balance and rolling down the sidewalk in a great mimic of a log. It was love at first roll.

April-October 2014
One of the first things that attracted Dominique to John was his ambition and how he was always trying to better himself and learn. John's first answer to this question was not PG haha but he said Dominique's smile and spirit drew him in as well. Over the next 5-6 months they spent it getting to know all they could about one another and exploring new places. They both realized early on they each liked going to see music live and one of Dominique's favorite date was their A Day to Remember concert. John doesn't have a specific one, he just knows he loved learning new things about Dominique and spending time with her.

This is the day that John and Dominique's lives changed forever. Dominique hadn't been feeling well the last couple weeks, and after the insistence of a friend she took a little test. When she saw that positive sign on the test, she knew everything was going to be different. It took Dominique a week to work up the courage to tell John, a week where he questioned her and was concerned for her because she was acting differently. He panicked (just like Dominique did when she first found out) but he quickly rallied around her. They were in this togethor and starting a life.

On this day he entered their lives around 8:30 AM in the morning. Life as they had known it was forever altered and shaped to include this beautiful baby boy. He had the honor of being the first grandson on both sides, as well as being the first great grandson. He truly was their little miracle and everyday with him is amazing and they are so incredibly grateful to have him in their lives.

John truly went above and beyond with setting up the proposal. He recruited Dominique's coworkers to guarentee that she had the night off, made sure mom and dad were there along with the Zamora clan, and he had her best friend fly in for it. While doing this he had Dominique thinking the whole time that they were going to one of those dates where you take a class to learn how to cook a meal. When the class was suddenly "canceled" Dominique was furious that they did it so last minute and wanted to storm into the office and demand a refund or different class. John distracted her by saying her favorite resteraunt was next door so why don't they go there instead. Lo and behold Dominique's mom and dad were sitting there. As the rest of the planning crew trickled in Dominique thought that the surprises were over after Kylee made her appearence and was just happy to sit with everyone. That is when John stood up and said a beautiful speech then turned to the side and the baby came walking towards her with the ring box. Dominique promptly broke into tears as she said yes. The rest is history.
